Ten Girly Drinks for Your Woman (or you if you’re MANLY enough!)

Aloha BeerRightNow users, I’m back with what Lori Beth Denberg would call “Vital Information for Your Everyday Life.” Today’s topic: Girly drinks. I know what you’re thinking right about now, “Oh my goodness, how in the world does BeerRightNow know what I was looking to read today?” Well, we don’t like to tell everybody this but…we’re pretty much equally psychic as Ms. Cleo. Yeah, we know. We just like to stay humble and not toot our own horn, er um, toast to ourselves. So, now that you know one of the secrets in our vault of things we don’t tell people, let’s look at a few of the absolute frilliest, girly drinks out there in the drinking world.

10. Sex On The Beach

This drink screams girl (partially because any guy holding it would look slightly questionable).  It is pretty and so fruity, you don’t taste the strength of the alcohol used to make it.  With this drink, your girlfriend or girl friend will be able to sip in style while tastefully acquiring a buzz.

9. Sangria

Another beautiful drink that is heavily infused with fruit.  This is sure to be a hit for any lady friend.  Think of it as the girly alternative to a very strong and manly hunch punch.

8. Lemon Drop (Martini or Shot)

This is my personal favorite.  This pays homage to the candy of the same name and is the perfect drink for any girl who likes it sweet and sour.  Not only is it really classy looking to hold, it is freaking delicious!

7. Pina Colada

This drink oozes bikini on the beach…or at least the vision of one when you are stuck at the bar after a long day from your 9-5 that you hate.  Save this drink for the ladies wishing to have a tropical escape.

6. Margaritas (especially the frozen kind)

The ultimate mix of tequila and happiness, the margarita is the go-to female drink, especially at Mexican restaurants.  What makes it girly, you ask?  Well, any drink that allows you to serve it as an icee and mix it with fruit flavors pretty much makes it a drink for women.

5. Cosmopolitan (Cosmo)

Although it might come in a martini glass and allow you to chug down large amounts of vodka, save this drink for the ladies.  Need a good reason?  Well, there is a magazine of the same name that is most obviously catered to your woman.  I mean, where do you think all these sex quizzes come from?  Stay away, buddy!

4. Daiquiri (especially Strawberry)

Another frozen fruity drink.  This is probably the go-to when a girl is not sure of anything else on the menu.

3. Blue Hawaiian

Blue curacao just makes everything better.  (Be cautious when drinking ‘Blue Motherfuckers’ however.) This classic girly drink is really just the blue version of a Pina Colada.

2. Mojitos

Classic. Tasty. Refreshing.  Three things girls love.  Plus, you can infuse fruit flavors in this too.  The only time men are permitted to indulge in this treat is when the Kentucky Derby is happening.  You’re welcome.

1. Mai Tai

Translated to mean “out of this world”, this is a drink that is so sweet, it will absolutely kill any sweet tooth you might have for the next week.  Ladies love these!  Men, not so much.
