Beer Trends: Beergaritas
The growing trend of beer cocktails is becoming ever more popular. The so called ‘beergarita’ is a margarita with beer in it as well. It packs a punch, featuring tequila and beer, and is generally less sweet than its traditional counterpart. Many people may have seen a version of the beergarita at some popular chain restaurants, with a tiny beer bottle on the side of a large margarita glass. Well our readers will be pleased to know that making a beergarita an home is super simple. Check out a few of our favorite beergaritas for yourself, and let us know what you thought.
Classic Beergarita Recipe:
12 Ounce Can Frozen Limeade Concentrate
16 Ounces Light Beer
3/4 Cup Tequila
Lime Slices and Kosher Salt For Garnish
To make your classic beergarita, you will first need to prep the limeade by following the directions on the can in regards of how much water to add. Once the limeade is prepared, simply mix the remaining ingredients together. Be sure to salt the top of each of the glasses and add a slice of lime for garnish.
Cherry Beergarita:
12 Ounces Cherry Flavored Lemon Lime Soda
12 Ounces Frozen Limeade Concentrate
12 Ounces Of Tequila
12 Ounces Of Corona
Cherry and Lime For Garnish
To make your cherry beergarita, you will first need to prep the limeade by following the directions on the packaging. Once the limeade is prepared, mix the remaining ingredients in a pitcher. Garnish each glass with a cherry and slice of lime.
Strawberry Lemonade Beergarita:
12 Ounces Frozen Strawberry Lemonade Concentrate
12 Ounces Of Light Beer
12 Ounces Of Tequila
12 Ounces Lemon Lime Soda
Strawberry and Lemon For Garnish
You will need to start your strawberry lemonade flavored beergarita the same way as the other two recipes, by preparing the frozen lemonade concentrate. Once that is taken care of, you will once again mix in the remaining ingredients. Garnish each glass with a fresh strawberry and a slice of lemon and enjoy!
