What Does Your Favorite Beer Say About You?
It is incredibly easy to profile strangers and guess their alcohol of choice based on appearance and first impressions. But if you dive a little deeper you can analyze the different levels to someone’s personality based on sub-category of their preferred beverage. Beer drinkers can even examine their own tendencies based on the brew they choose. Here is a short list of beer types and how they might apply to you.
IPA
Those with a sophisticated palate can enjoy a nice hoppy IPA. The same person enjoying a bold India Pale Ale might also be the type to eat grapefruit for breakfast. They probably have immaculate apartments and cook their pets organic meals from scratch. IPA lovers are bold people who seek high quality in life and will not put anything in their bodies that doesn’t mean their standards. They probably also use beard oil and have a hydroponic lettuce garden in their backyard.
Light
Light beer drinkers claim to be beer lovers but are afraid of the calories. In reality, they probably prefer simple life routines as they don’t adjust very well to change and aren’t very apt to take risks. They crave stability and comfort and take their bras off when they get home from work. Light beer enthusiasts prefer the usual Bud Light to the local unfiltered Boulevard Wheat, but the shy traits of their favorite brew don’t reflect on their ability to care for family and friends and host a lively holiday dinner.
Stout
Much like the brew, stout lovers are very intense and robust people. They have an appetite for experience and have encountered many life-changing events and individuals. Stout drinkers are not subtle about their mysterious appeal and can be quite poetic and profound in conversation. They are smooth and filling but can easily weigh people down with their gravity.
Wheat
Many Midwesterners are fond of wheat beer for it’s authenticity and simplicity. It’s warm and filling, and much like the genuine nature of the Midwest itself, it is best when unfiltered. Wheat lovers are hard-working and honest without all the superficial and materialistic additives.
Fruit
Fruit beer is most enjoyed by people who are delicate and sensual but curious about their own personal limits. Fruit beer comes in a variety of flavors and levels of tartness, so drinkers of this craft concoction are likely doing a bit of experimenting of their own. It is daring and playful without being overly ambitious.
